ATTACK DIRECTION |
One of the unique things
about Warcardz is the way the cards can move and attack.
To take advantage of the attack direction capabilities
of your deck, try to use cards with the most direction
options. A card that can attack diagonally as well as
laterally will be more valuable than a card that can
only attack forward and laterally. Cards with several
attack directions are also easier to use for multi-card
attacks.

NIHILISTS |
Nihilists are definitely
useful considering the fact that you are given the
option of flipping a new card on either sidedeck after a
Nihilist is defeated. One powerful strategy is to hold
onto at least one Nihilist card in your hand to be
played at a later point in the game if one of the
variables or attributes is really pinning you down.
Being able to change sidedeck cards is EXTREMELY
valuable, and even though most Nihilist cards are
low-value cards, when used right they can be very very
effective... and because most Nihilist cards DO have a
low card value, they are a great bargain.

THE POWER DECK |
The deck below belongs to
Head Designer Steve Thaemert, and has yet to be
defeated. What makes it so special? Well, the starting 5
cards can be used in multi-card attacks for one. The
Drakon Nimmt (Extremely Rare) is possible the most
formidable Post card in the game. One drawback to this
deck is the fact that the starting 5 cards exceed the 25
point card value limit -- so if all five cards are face
up at the same time (and your opponent catches it) you
will suffer a card loss. The three Tactics cards used
with this deck are 2x Combination's and 1x Energy Push. |

HEAVY ATTACK |
This is a more attainable
deck in which the cards have an emphasis on base attack,
or a well-balanced attribute distribution. This deck
gets a lot of bang for it's card values, but the
reserves have to be played at the right time in order to
get optimum performance. Notice the stronger cards in
the reserve roll, and the "sacrificial" Nihilist cards.
The Tactics cards used with this deck are 1x
Combination, 1x Evasion, and 1x Deathtouch. |

EXTREME'S DECK |
This deck is a lot of fun
to play with, because when it works -- it REALLY works.
The idea behind it is to load up on high risk, high
reward cards and hope the sidedecks flip your way. This
is another deck that creeps up past the card value
limit, so you have to play cards carefully. You'll
notice the starting 5 are all Independent's, and there
is a lot of Frenzy waiting to be unleashed. The reserves
include some pretty powerful cards... if the attribute
is right. Independent friendly tactics cards would be
great companions for this deck, or any combination of
general all-purpose Tactics cards. |
